5 Tips on How to Create Awesome Podcast Artwork
How to Create a Podcast Cover Art?
When I started What’s Good, I wanted to come into the industry with a bang. I knew first impressions meant everything in business and I desired to keep the same attitude for my podcast. While having this mindset, I wanted my artwork to speak for itself with the intention of drawing the audience in to listen to my show.
So, check out my tips on how to add a little pizazz to your podcast artwork!
Your artwork dimensions matter
A 1:1 aspect ratio is recommended.
Avoid using too many words
Focus more on your brand colors, the name of your show, and your logo. Taglines and photos are awesome, but less is more.
Keep your artwork consistent with your brand
When creating your artwork, make sure it aligns with your brand. This is an important task to gain the trust of your audience and establish the credibility of your brand.
Make sure you catch some eyes
When creating your podcast cover art, be creative. For inspiration, I recommend using templates in Canva when creating your cover art.
Have fun
This is your time to shine and showcase your personality. Have fun with the process and go with the flow. You will learn along the way.
Be very careful with your artwork. It can lead you to more listeners, or it could cost people to keep scrolling. Remember to have fun, but also make sure it appeals to your community.
Take your time in doing this step. It will make a difference for the future of your podcast.
