My Powerful Return to What's Good

My Powerful Return to What's Good

After over a year away, I'm back with a soul-baring new episode of my podcast "What's Good." In this episode, I get candid about the challenges that led to my extended hiatus. I open up about the burnout I faced from juggling too many client commitments as a podcast producer. I was giving so much to everyone else's shows that I neglected my own.

I also share the pain of receiving a hurtful comment that my content was "boring." Those words really shook my confidence and sense of self-worth. On top of that, I was struggling with stress eating, weight gain, and a crisis of self-doubt and imposter syndrome. It was a perfect storm that made me question if I should continue the show.

However, this episode is ultimately about rediscovering my voice and vision. I open up about tuning out external negativity and criticism, and renewing my focus on spotlighting the amazing food, business, and creative talents in my hometown of Dallas. I'm re-committing to bring you all behind-the-scenes, shining a light on the inspiring makers and innovators driving the culture of this vibrant city.

It was difficult but necessary to lay my insecurities and struggles bare. But I'm re-emerging stronger, with crystal clear intentions. I can't wait to share the powerful stories of local entrepreneurs, artists, chefs, and more with you all. This is just the start of an exciting new chapter for "What's Good."
